About us

Our Background

The Popolipo Foundation was founded in March 2025 by a loving mother, in memory of her multitalented son, Paul, affectionately known as “Popolipo.” Paul was a young man with extraordinary artistic talent whose passion for the arts and vibrant creativity brought joy to everyone around him. His life was tragically cut short before he could fully share his gifts with the world.

In the face of this profound loss, his mother and family chose to harness their grief to inspire purpose and change. They created the Popolipo Foundation to continue the legacy of Paul’s dream and ensure that no talented child would go unseen or unsupported simply because of where they were born.

Today, “Popolipo” is more than a name, it is a symbol of potential, passion, creativity  and the transformative power of art. Through our work, we honour his legacy by identifying and nurturing young talents from underserved communities, giving them the opportunity to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Our Vision

To create a world where every child, regardless of socioeconomic background, can nurture & develop their artistic talents and use them effectively to bridge cultural divides, promote peace, and create inclusive societies.

Our Mission

To provide a caring & supportive platform for talented child artists from underserved communities to actualize/realize their dreams. We aim to promote their participation in socio-economic and political development and advocate for their rights to basic social services such as health, education, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) and protection.
